Hi, I’m a multimedia storyteller from the Bronx, NY. I’m passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices, and producing honest and empathetic narratives.

I’ve been writing and performing spoken word poetry for ten years. My writing mostly covers mental health and my identity as a West Indian American. I’m published in literary magazines Graffiti and Epoch. I’m also featured in the 2014 poetry collection Accolades by The America Library of Poetry.

I have a strong foundation in journalism, with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Creative Writing from Manhattanville College, and a Masters in Public Media from Fordham University. I was previously a podacster and news anchor at WFUV News.

In 2022, I co-founded Project Open Hands, a non-profit that serves families in need.
